"My work reflects my deepest beliefs about our ability to create vibrant, joyful lives that are guided by purpose, and allows me to share what I've learned to help you in your own journey of self discovery, personal expression and optimal wellness" |
About meI've always had a natural curiosity about the nature of life and what gives meaning and purpose to what we do. This has been reflected in every phase of my life, from when I was a student in college, to an adventurous globetrotter, to a suburban parent. Along the way, I have lived in in Paris, Colorado, Rio de Janeiro, New York City, New Jersey, and finally, back to my hometown of Tallahassee, Florida.
Before enrolling in the Coaching for Transformation training program in 2008, I spent years searching for the elusive 'right' profession that would allow me to work from my heart and contribute to the world in a meaningful way. As I developed my transformational coaching practice, I realized how my life has been centered around my own search for meaning and that my meditation practice has been my guide in discovering my path. From a desire to share the benefits of meditation - self awareness, emotional intelligence, and inner peace to name a few - I began to teach meditation to children, teens, adults, and families. I have since taught many classes and given numerous workshops. In the summer of 2012, I had the opportunity to learn Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction from two masters in the field - Jon Kabat Zinn and Saki Santorelli - which furthered my goal of bridging the gap between the 'alternative' health fields and main stream health and wellness, and has inspired me to pursue the integration of these two seemingly separate worlds with a renewed sense of optimism. Over the eight years that I lived near NYC, I studied energy healing and meditation with Ronit Singer of The Oneness Center, from whom I learned to shift my own energies using only intention while in a meditative state, in order to clear emotional/energetic blocks and heal traumas. This deeply transformative work inspired me to enroll in Donna Eden's Energy Medicine Professional Training Program in order to learn the science behind the movement of subtle energies, and how these energies support the physical, emotional and mental well being of each and every one of us. The result is a practice that is a complete and personalized approach to mind/body health and deep personal transformation. I am passionate about helping others to create the foundational shifts and transformation they seek in their lives. I look forward to sharing this work with you! |
